However, the two were in shock to see a Cramorant trying to swallow Kilo. There, the two shouted Kilo's name, and saw it in a lake. ![]() ![]() Casey immediately grabbed Hop to take him to the spot. It was there where he found Casey's Arrokuda, Kilo, and went to her to inform her of it. After hearing the news about Casey trying to find her Pokémon teammates, Hop went to make a camp, where he wanted to catch a Cramorant before battling Kabu. Having arrived in Hulbury, Marvin and Casey didn't see Marnie, Bede nor Hop around, unlike in Turffield. He also pointed out loud that being endorsed by the Chairman meant something, just to get under Bede's skin. After Henry won the battle, Hop began to understand why his brother endorsed Sou for the Gym Challenge. Even more, Bede refused to say anything the key point about this match, which annoyed Hop to shout at him, before Marnie cut their talk. He got into an argument with Bede about being endorsed by the Chairman or the Champion. He noted that Milo's Eldegoss' fluff had spread around, which diminished both trainers' sight. Hop continued to observe Henry's match against Milo, where it was mentioned that Henry was approved by the Champion to take on the Gym Challenge. Hop telling Marvin that Pokémon who Dynamax revert to their normal size after using three moves. He took her seat with her, along with Bede, Marnie, Sonia and Marvin, to watch Sou's battle against Milo. Hop went into the stadium, shouting enthusiastically with Casey. The five Trainers decided to work together, as they went to destroy the boulder, which was simply relocated. Hop was waiting with Marnie and Bede at Turffield's entrance, blocked by a boulder, when Henry, Casey, Marvin and Sonia approached them. Hop also didn't want others to belittle Leon, and was why he decided to participate in the Gym Challenge without his brother's help. Hop, despite being a fan towards his brother as a Champion, refused the endorsement, believing any mistake or loss he would earn in a battle would then negatively affect his brother, too. Leon offered Hop an endorsement for the Gym Challenge. Hop was given books to read, which made him gain a lot of knowledge about Pokémon. Hop telling Marnie he refused his brothers' endorsement.
